Description of the project
Concerned about what our Earth will look like in the future, we the teachers and the students realise that it is our responsibility to protect it! By understanding the Earth, we can better understand ourselves. Communicating with Nature recharges us and makes us harmonious individuals. The planet Earth is our home! She is the driving force in our lives – it is our responsibility to take care of it! It also takes care of us because it produces the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink. Thanks to its perfection and beauty, we are alive. Through the theme “Planet Earth is my home!” we want to teach children to love the air, nature, water, rivers, seas, oceans and everything in nature that surrounds us. We created a new and modern vision in the corridors and foyers of our school, where beautiful photo wallpapers with images of the Earth inspire the children and encourage them to make bold decisions in caring for the planet Earth.
Floor 1
“I take care of the planet!”
We love Planet Earth and I believe that caring for it is our responsibility. And since we all draw from the Earth’s Energy, we are convinced that we need to give it something in return! Let’s take care of it! In the corridors and foyers we place friezes and wallpapers with images of the Earth, which visually inspire our children to take care of it. Positive messages and affirmations create ecological thinking in the future generations.
Floor 2
„Cities of the future“
We need to better understand the challenges that cities will face in the coming years. Teaching our children to use the energy of the Earth is our sacred right! Cities of the future should be environmentally friendly and intelligent systems. They will be very green and the people in them will live healthy. Therefore, seeing images of cities of the future in the foyers and corridors will awaken creativity and attitude to live in comfort and harmony with nature and care for the planet Earth.
The rooms
Each classroom has its own look with a unique photo-wallpaper and interesting thoughts, affirming messages and words woven into them. The themes for each room are unique and in tune with the interests and worldview of the children who study in the room. Grades 1 to 4 are dominated by wallpapers with fairy tale characters, while the rest cover topics from literature, history, geography, languages and others.
