Project Description
We, teachers, and students from Simeon Veliki Vocational Technical High School in the town of Veliki Preslav, took the project ‘I love my school’ as our mission to create a cosy and warm atmosphere in the school corridors, lobbies, and classrooms. The colourful and beautiful vision of our school helps everyone put smiles on their faces. It will be a place where you don’t get just knowledge. Everyone will feel free to create, express themselves with words, love, and support. School will be a place of smiles and happiness.
First floor
“In the world of books”
As you enter the school building, you enter the vast world of books. And it couldn’t be any other way. Books and school are linked together. That’s the truth. Children enter the temple of school to get knowledge. Desire and needs grow into love for many children. The love of books is the best way to expand our mind and world. The power of words and speech is well-known. It is somehow natural that by going through the main entrance you enter the temple of knowledge. That is why books are on the first floor. Reading books teaches many virtues like inquisitiveness, perseverance and order, confidence, creativity, kindness, tolerance and empathy, patience and … more.

“Butterfly Magic”
People smile when they see a butterfly. Butterflies are joy with wings. They are beautiful, colourful, and free. The second floor of our school will be filled with magic brought by so many beautiful, gentle, ethereal, and free butterflies. Our students will be in a space that will encourage them to smile more often and see beauty around. It will help them feel free to express their thoughts out loud and dream. It will be an ultimate joy to be able to fly to the light and success!
Third floor-planned for 2023
“White and yellow pearl scents”
The third floor will be an ‘endless field of beautiful daisies’! Ladybirds will ornate their delicate petals. On their way to the classroom to attend classes, our students will go through this beautiful space of white and yellow pearl scents of delicate and beautiful daisies that seem to smile in the light of love. Pearls turned into flowers! Lights that cannot be extinguished. Little suns. Beauty that creates harmony, complemented by little ladybirds that enliven this world. They are a symbol of luck, success, and abundance. They symbolise kindness and human happiness. By transforming this wonderful world for our students, we will give them light and smiles every day.
