How does the learning environment effect the students

We the teachers from Nikolay Petrini Primary, Yambol have dedicated our professionalism, love, and attention to our students. We consider at the centre of our creative search and inspiration the children’s various talents, dreams, and expectations.

We believe that the environment in which children learn, grow and socialize is important for their education. It develops their imagination and builds values such as kindness, tolerance, purity, sincerity, dignity and a positive attitude towards oneself and others. We think there is a direct link between beauty in all its dimensions; like environment, relationships, and spirituality through love. If we offer an animated and aesthetic learning environment which will nurture love for learning and self-awareness, and hence will create beautiful minds, creative individuals and happy people. We will justify this by answering some important questions that are raised as challenges to modern education and upbringing:

  • What do all children deserve?
  1. To be surrounded by beauty;
  2. To be loved and cared for;
  3. Time to play;
  4. To learn while playing;
  5. Good education;
  6. Good teachers;
  7. Good will and respect for their personality;
  8. Positive, clean, well-lit schools.
  • What do we want to give our children with the I Love My School project?
  1. To make the school attractive and desired place for the children;
  2. To educate them into a positive approach to themselves and the world;
  3. To teach them to be good, because good people are happier;
  4. To provoke a desire for reading;
  5. To nurture in them an aesthetic sense, creative imagination, and spirit of discovery, to help them find themselves and their place in the world easier.
  6. To create more pleasant environment for teachers and by doing this to break their routine, for a good teacher is one that not only teaches but also inspires his students.
  7. To bring together the teaching committee to the idea all together to develop a better learning environment for our children, because education and upbringing are responsibility not only to the school, but to the family and community..
  8. To bring forward the creative potential in the students and the teachers.

All this in the interest and for the sake of our children in Bulgaria! They all deserve equal opportunities to high standard of modern education in relaxing and educational learning environment in order to manifest their individual qualities and talents to the maximum of their potential for a successful life.
