Alexandra Rumenova Stoykova

I am an interior and product design graduate from NABA Milano University in Italy.

For me working for LightSource is more than a job, because it is a Mission!

Being part of the ‘I love my school’ Project, I feel satisfied to use my time and talent in something valuable and unique that improves the infrastructure through the renovation of uncomfortable or old school buildings. Education needs to be supported in every aspect. Schools are the environment in which people are educated; they are a key factor in how knowledge will be perceived and experienced. It gives me great pleasure to see the significant positive change in strengthening pupils’ and teachers’ connection and sense of belonging to the school buildings. This leads to more smiles, achievement and enjoyment of the time spent at school.

Vesela Plamenova

My position in the LightSource Charity Team is Project Manager for Bulgaria.

My Bachelor’s degree is in Philosophy and Psychology at Sts. Kliment Ohridski  Sofia University.

I also have an MA  in Work and Organisational Psychology at Sts. Kliment Ohridski  Sofia University.

My pedagogical education and my achievements in this field are the factor that determines the deep analytical view and the opportunity to manage the school teams under the ‘I love my school’ Project.

It is my pleasure to support and encourage teachers to believe that aesthetic and harmonious change to the school building is important and supports education. As a psychologist, I deeply believe in the philosophy that the environment determines the mind, which is the basis of the ‘I love my school’ Project.

Progressive thinking and aesthetics, supported by perfect execution and vision for every single detail, change pupils’ attitude to strive to achieve more. The positive and colourful learning environment develops and motivates children to seek new knowledge, believe and follow their dreams. Cultivating an aesthetic attitude, desire for mutual help and responsibility towards the environment are fundamental values and motives that change not only the environment, but also people themselves.

It is my pleasure to see how pupils, teachers and parents unite and work together to build a brighter and successful future of the younger generation!

Bilyana Panayotova

I am honoured to be the Project Manager for Bulgaria at the British LightSource Charity.

I am a graduate of Sts. Kliment Ohridski  Sofia University, with a degree in Italian Philology. I have twenty years of work experience as a teacher and in management and customer service activities.

Personally, I find that working with people, contact and communication is something that makes me feel energised. LightSource appeared unexpectedly in my life, but I was drawn to it because it is a charity organisation that creates beauty and has no analogue in Bulgaria or around the world. The ‘I love my school’ Project is not just a job for me, it is a mission that inspires people to change their attitude and mindset to create a beautiful and environmentally friendly learning environment for our children – the future generation of Bulgaria!

I am extremely happy to have the opportunity to be a part of this Team and Mission!

Viktoria Dyulgerova

I am the Assistant Manager in the LightSource Team fot Bulgaria.

I am a graduate of Burgas Free University with a Degree in Business Administration at the Centre of Economic and Management Sciences.

Being part of the LightSource Team is a mission for me, where I have the opportunity to give everything I can, so that together with teachers, children and parents we can create a new, beautiful and inspiring reality in the school building. My work with the ‘I love my school’ Project is fulfilling and rewarding. I believe that children are the future of the world and through the ecological projects ‘Children and Flowers’ and ‘Plant a Tree’ they learn to express themselves in a creative way, and develop an ecological attitude towards the surrounding nature! It is important for me to support teachers and pupils to create their own learning space where they can express themselves, create, learn, care and love. In this way, together we create a new and wonderful world full of light and love!
