The school before the project

Project Description

Our school is an attractive place for learning, creativity, dancing and communication! It has a constructive effect on the education of pupils and their development as individuals – knowledgeable, responsible, talented, who remember their past and folklore traditions.
The end result is a positive, inspiring and stylish environment that replaces the boring and impersonal previous school environment and helps pupils achieve their cherished dreams in the future! Suitable photo wallpapers and colour solutions transform classrooms, lobbies and corridors and inspire both teachers and pupils in the educational and creative process, uniting them in the world of beauty, fantasy and dreams.
Our chosen themes highlight the traditions we believe in and the modern flair we use. Pupils from our school love folklore, Bulgarian songs and people. This is precisely what determines the choice of our theme for the first floor – “The Magic of Folklore”. The interior design of the second floor emphasises the beauty of art, as a transformed and new perspective that enchants and elevates the human spirit. Our talented pupils have a special attitude to dancing, which we emphasise with the theme on the third floor of the school – “Dance is the hidden language of the soul”. Dance is power, perfection and mystery that creates values and helps pupils express themselves.

Ground floor: Past, Present, Future

School is a temple of science and spirituality!
Each one of us should know their past and should be proud to be part of our big artistic family and cherish it in their hearts. Memory is a bridge to a constructive future and an example for generations to come. Interior design has an extraordinary impact on the education of pupils in a spirit of unity, teamwork and striving for successful performances in the field of science, art and sports.
The photo wallpapers on the ground floor of the school (the lobby of the official entrance) tell the centuries-old history of our school – about the important moments from its establishment in the distant 1885 to the present day. You can see the names of all headmasters over the years, the portraits of the Holy Brothers and the Bulgarian alphabet. This is how every pupil, teacher and guest gets to know the past of this temple of science and spirituality. This is how it can be cherished in their hearts and everyone can be proud to be part of the big family of the School of Arts.
The interior design solutions in front of the choreographic halls and sports halls are thematically linked to the art of dance, music and song, and sports. Thus pupils grow and develop in a beautiful, positive and inspiring environment. They are motivated to develop their talent, work hard and win. The colourful solutions in sunny-caramel colours complement the feeling of warmth, comfort and magic.

First floor: The Magic of Folklore

Pupils from our school love Bulgarian folklore, songs and people, and it is wonderful for them to be surrounded by the magic of embroidery and folk creativity. They are inspired to learn, create, sing and dance and to love everything related to Bulgaria. Getting to know and cherish Bulgarian traditions and art is a factor in the upbringing of young people in patriotism.
The sunny yellow and red colour range dominates the interior design on the first floor – in the primary and secondary school wings. The thematic photo wallpapers are dedicated to Bulgarian folklore – a spiritual value that has preserved the Bulgarian language throughout the centuries. The colourful drawings teach them to appreciate beauty and use it into all their creative expressions. The end result is a positive, inspiring and stylish environment, replacing the boring and impersonal previous school environment.

Second floor: Art is Transformed Appearance

“Art is first of all a piece of the soul, and then a transformed appearance”
Sirak Skitnik
Art is that invisible part of the soul that can turn a person’s heart upside down! It can take our breath away because of the perfection of the human creation! Art is inspired by the divine!
Since ancient times, mankind has sought beauty to transform the world around it. And since ancient times people have also understood that there is no greater and more powerful weapon than Art! Art fights against evil and conquers, it enchants and takes the human spirit to a higher level, it gives people wings to fly above the world and reach the transformed appearance of the soul. Art is a temple of spirituality, power and eternity.

Third floor – Dance is the Hidden Language of the Soul

Dance is not only art, it is beauty, vitality, magic and love. You can express hope, faith, love and pain. It is the language of the human spirit! Graceful and airy movements can speak louder and louder than words! They can touch and enchant people, captivate hearts and fill them with reverence.
Since ancient times, people have danced because they can express themselves in the dance. Dance is a spiritual bridge between people, a path to the unity of the community. Dance is the gift of power, perfection, mystery and absolute beauty.

Children and Flowers

Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.

Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature

Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.

For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
