Project Inspiration
We believe that every child is important, unique, and special and deserves attention and support. The new interior design of the school building is pleasant and attractive to the pupils in our city. The atmosphere in the classrooms is magical, fun, and enchanting. The interior of the school plays a crucial role in the comfort and convenience of both pupils and teachers. It needs to be functional, attractive, and inspiring. The homely environment stimulates the creativity and imagination of the pupils. In this way they understand not only the learning material but also the values that will help them become better individuals.
Project Description
The overall interior design of SS. Cyril and Methodius Primary School, Town of Ihtiman reflects the magic and fantasy of a fairy-tale world. The children are happy, inspired to achieve their dreams, and motivated to achieve high results The school has become a true magical world! Charming wallpapers, depicting characters and scenes from the favourite fairy tale Charming wallpapers, depicting characters and scenes from the favourite fairy tale ‘Alice in Wonderland’, transport pupils to distant lands and ignite their imagination. The corridors have been transformed into paths through magical forests, decorated with wallpapers illustrating moments from favourite stories. Each classroom is thematically decorated, turning it into a fairy-tale scene. Dreams encourage children to aspire towards a better future. Their imagination helps them develop creativity and find solutions to problems. Kindness and respect for others make them better and more responsive individuals. Friendship makes them feel supported and loved. These values are essential for the full growth of every child, and it is in fairy tales that they are most common. This motivates us to choose the magical world of fairy tales as the theme of our interior design.
Lobbies and Corridors, Floors 1 and 2
“Alice in Wonderland”
The magical world of Alice stimulates imagination, dreams, creativity, curiosity, and emotional intelligence. We chose this theme to present the school as a magical and exciting place for learning, joy, and friendship. Here, every child feels special and valued. This is also the motto of our school: ‘Every child is important!’ We decorated the walls with fairy-tale wallpapers, featuring wonderful messages and positive words. We created a magical reading and relaxation corner where pupils can enjoy their favourite stories and fairy-tale characters.
Classrooms
“Fairy-tale world”
Each classroom features fairy-tale-themed wallpapers with children’s fairy-tale characters and enlightening messages. Fairy tales set up values and virtues. They develop pupils’ imagination and creative thinking, inspiring them to dream, achieve high results, and create a world where good always triumphs.
Children and Flowers
Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.
Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature
Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.
For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
