Inspiration for the interior design

Our wish is to make our school beautiful, modern and motivating for pupils and teachers. To become modern and different – a school of the present, but also a school of the future. When the school has beautiful images, the learning process becomes easy and pleasant; aggression and tension decrease. That is why we choose images from nature: sunflowers, lavender, butterflies; they make everyone feel happy regardless of age.

Project description

We are a school with 150 years of history, which is named after Ivan Vazov, the Patriarch of Bulgarian Literature. We cherish his values and with a new modern look, our school will become a bridge between past and future. Our children and their dreams are our future.

School is the place where children get wings for their dreams, turn them into goals and prepare to realise them, boldly looking into the future as children of the world.

Floor 1 – ‘A tale without end’

The world of fairy tales is wonderful. It makes children happy. It provokes their imagination and their desire to discover and explore life.

Shhh…, quiet… the Year 1 pupils get excited… they read the words in the book in front of them, on the desk… A ray of light flashes as they open it. The pupils gasp. They  riffle through the pages eagerly and with curiosity. The wonderful letters open a window of knowledge about the world. The fearless characters and their adventures teach them to be brave, the challenges they encounter make life interesting. The magic sparks their imagination, and the books tell a story. They tell about friendship and loyalty, about the wisdom of worlds and the hidden treasure called ‘knowledge’.

‘He who learns will succeed’, smiles the teacher.

Floor 2 – ‘Knowledge’

The thirst for knowledge leads children to the depths of science, enriches their worldview, and strengthens their quest for discovery, in tune with their dreams and desires.

‘Who are you?’ The eternal question the teacher asks. ‘Who am I?’ The eternal question that the pupil seeks an answer to. ‘I am the knowledge.’ The school answers. ‘Together we will find the answers you seek. Hand in hand we will look into the depths of science. Let us be brave and take the first step, together. The most important step to success is the first one.’

‘Thank you, my school!’ The pupil smiles, clutching the book and entering the classroom. ‘Thank you, my sanctuary!’ The teacher whispers with appreciation, and with light in his soul, enters the classroom. The bell for the first class rings.

Floor 3 – ‘Adventure’

The quest for knowledge draws pupils into a world of adventures and dreams. As they travel the world, they not only meet friends, but also discover themselves and turn their dreams into achievable goals.
