Inspiration for the interior design
It is important to organise a place where our students can develop their creative potential, stimulate their spirit of research and thirst for knowledge, make new friends, grow inspired, creative and happy.
The messages added to the colourful photo wallpapers will guide our dreamers, increase their motivation, and stimulate their spirit of discovery. We encourage them to create good things, be good friends, love their homeland and be proud of their past.
Project description
With the participation of volunteer groups of children, teachers, and parents, and with never-ending enthusiasm, we have managed to create a new, different, positive & inspiring learning environment. ‘Dreamers and Explorers’ is the theme that reveals our purpose and mission. We want our students to be inspired, to dream boldly, fly on the wings of their dreams and knowledge, believe in themselves and become successful and capable young people.

First floor
„Young Talents“
Fine Arts Room and the Technology and Entrepreneurship Room are located on this floor. They have a special design wallpaper. Positive words and affirmations stimulate young talents to open the doors of their imagination and create their own unique and magical world. They are encouraged to be confident, knowledgeable, and able to succeed.
Second floor
„Dreamers and Explorers“
Music rooms for primary and junior high school are on the second floor. They have their own special theme photo wallpapers. There is a creative room used as a workshop for various activities, depending on the students’ interests. There is also a room for Year 2 students, the latter having wallpapers with fabulous images of fairies, magical houses and magical worlds, and beautiful flowers. They all bring a sense of magic, light, harmony, adventure, friendship and freedom.
Third floor
„Fairyland“
The frieze drawings in the corridor on the 3rd floor will greet you with a warm ‘Welcome’ from the unforgettable Astrid Lindgren’s character of Pippi Longstocking. The wallpapers in the classrooms show Fairyland. Images with magical characters in a magical world create an inspiring and positive atmosphere for the children, which is a source of wisdom, magic and radiant smiles.

„Motherland is in my heart!“
Photo wallpapers with bright-yellow sunflowers, blue sky and a floral motif will welcome you in the main school building. The sunny, colourful, and positive atmosphere stimulates our perceptions of the environment. Positive messages teach children how to admire the Sun and Freedom, and the beauty and vastness of Nature. They also have the power to awaken admiration for life, freedom of thought and thirst for knowledge.

„Motherland is in my heart!“
The spirit of our great poet Hristo Botev and his work will inspire us with its power against the background of the majestic Bulgarian forest – the forest that gave him shelter and whose beauty he describes in his poems. The lyrics of the school anthem will be a reminder that Botev is our flag and guiding light to knowledge, happiness, and peace. The positive words and affirmations that will be written on the friezes, and the delicate daisies amongst them, will show our admiration and pride we have in the great deeds of our ancestors, glorious past and beautiful nature.

„The world is full of wonders!“
Harmony and boundless freedom will be felt in the lobby on the 3rd floor. The images on the photo wallpapers and friezes will make you stop to enjoy the perfection and beauty of Nature. The messages will remind children that they are free to create and dream, work miracles with their hands, mind, and heart.
Charity initiatives
A charity Christmas Market (Christmas Fayre) was organised at Hristo Botev Primary School in support of the Project ‘I Love My School’. Students, teachers, parents, and guests joined in with enthusiasm, united by the idea that we should see children’s faces beaming with joy during this great Christian Holiday. They proved that together we could create good things and beauty. We thank everyone for their hard work, resources, and dedication.
