Inspiration for the interior design
Taking as our mission the work on the project “I love my school”, we, the teachers and students of the Secondary School of Education – Pleven, decided to create a cozy and warm atmosphere in the school corridors, lobbies and classrooms. The colourful and beautiful vision of our school will turn it into an attractive centre and a place where not only knowledge is gained. Our goal is to work and create in a positive, modern and comfortable learning environment, to realise our ideas for a modern, beautiful and innovative school. Through the new interior design with different color solutions, gorgeous photo wallpapers and colorful corners we will completely transform the classrooms and lounges. They will become colourful and welcoming. In this way, we will motivate the students to empathise with what the teacher is saying, to feel that they are important participants, to take pleasure in the beauty around them and in a job well done, to realise their cherished dreams, to enjoy every moment in their beloved school.
Project Description
First floor
“Planet Earth is my home!”
We love our Home, the Earth, and are concerned about how it will look in the future. As teachers and students, we realise that the responsibility to protect the planet is ours! Communing with Nature recharges us and creates harmonious individuals. Our planet Earth is our home! She is the driving force in our lives – it is our responsibility to take care of her! She also takes care of us because she produces the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink. It is because of her perfection and beauty that we are alive.
Corridors and foyers
Through the theme, we want to encourage young people to love everything in nature that surrounds us. We are creating a new and modern look in the corridors and foyers of our school, where we are placing friezes and wallpapers with images and positive messages that visually inspire students, encourage them to care for nature and create environmentally engaged individuals.
In the lobbies, small gathering and communication areas – hallway extensions, lounge areas with movable furniture appropriate to the school. There are green areas, modular furniture and displays of the school’s life and achievements.
Classrooms
Each classroom has its individual look, created by the photo wallpapers, the interesting thoughts, positive affirmations and words woven into them. In the specialized classrooms, images are placed depending on the subject being studied, messages and teaching information are written. Teachers’ and students’ ideas are incorporated into the new design of the learning environment. Teachers get involved in the project by providing inspirational thoughts and positive sayings that are embedded in their selected photo wallpaper. Through the work of all the teachers, students and parents, the school is totally transformed and a warm feeling that the school is their second home is created!
Children and Flowers
Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.
Artistic Foyers
Through the “Artistic Foyers” project, we create a welcoming and positive environment for relaxation and non-formal time in the school’s foyers. We are making them a more inviting and preferred place for students to relax.
The aim is for the children to create their own beautiful space for relaxation in the foyers of the schools by restoring and decorating furniture. They also make handmade decorations that give a cozy and esthetical feeling.
