Project Inspiration
In the village of Borovan, the school is more than just a place for learning – it is the heart of the community. The themed photo murals at the Vocational High School of Transport “Kosta Petrov” help create an inspiring educational environment that boosts interest in vocational paths, builds confidence, and encourages students to take pride in their chosen profession. The use of color and imagery enhances concentration, promotes a positive mood, and strengthens the emotional connection students have with their school.
Project Description
We transformed the school’s interior to increase both comfort and self-confidence – for students in the classroom and in shared spaces. Bright, modern colors and themed murals now provide an uplifting, motivating atmosphere that sparks creativity and fuels the desire to learn. The project supports the development of practical skills and encourages deeper engagement with vocational training. In parallel, it fosters teamwork and connection to nature through community initiatives like “Children and Flowers” and “Plant a Tree.”
First floor – “Technology and Craftsmanship – The Key to the Future“
The murals on the first floor highlight the energy and diversity of technical professions with themed visuals and powerful words such as “technology” and “craftsmanship.” They motivate students to develop practical skills, logical thinking, patience, and self-assurance. Comfortable seating areas in the hallways and foyers offer inviting spaces for rest and collaboration. Through this environment, the school not only supports academic success but also actively prepares students for meaningful and successful professional futures.

Children and Flowers
Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.

Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature
Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.
For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
