“I love my school”
‘School – the one we never dreamed of!’
The school before the project “I Love my school”
Inspiration for the interior design
The greatest magic is called childhood and when children are small, they need to live in a world of magic!
The inspiration came from the fact that everything around us is changing. And why not also change that place where we spend so much time and was once considered scary, depressing and had to look a certain way. Now the school is welcoming, makes you smile and has its own style. It makes you dream and remember some important things. Looking at the images and reading the text tells you that anything is possible. You raise your head and keep moving onwards and upwards!
Project description
We chose magical castles and fairytale characters as wallpaper themes. They create a relaxing and positive atmosphere for the children, and a feeling that school is their second home. The friezes in the corridors show little fairies who give butterflies to children. Butterflies symbolise positive qualities we want to develop in the young: love, tolerance, kindness, and compassion.
Ground floor: ‘Confidence with the first step!’
The best achievements in education and personal development are accomplished when pupils are confident. Children need to understand that achievement is not a gift, it has nothing to do with people around us or good luck. It is a result of efforts and the confidence to develop your creative and imaginative potential. Our message is centred around the idea that school is not just a place to learn, but a place for pupils to motivate themselves, seek solutions to problems and walk confidently along their path.
Floor 1: ‘Journey to Knowledge’
Interesting, colourful and adventurous is our journey into the world of knowledge. It is inspiring to introduce pupils to this amazing world. Knowledge has energetic potential, through which we get the opportunity to create something great, thus changing and improving the world around us. Knowledge transforms and gives meaning, takes real and tangible forms.
Floor 2: ‘Another step to the top!’
The road to the top always starts with one small step. It is often long and not always cloudless, but our children need to build confidence and courage, to dream, create and make it happen. You move from goal to goal, reaching them one by one; you stumble, you fall but you approach the fruition of your dreams. It all begins with an idea, born in your head.
Floor 3: ‘We take to the skies and return to create miracles!’
Miracles happen to anyone who truly wants them and works to achieve them. At the heart of everything we do is the idea of mutual responsibility – ‘It’s up to us’. We believe and teach our children that people’s ability and inclination to take purposeful action and take responsibility to achieve their goals, creates a dream environment of life and fulfilment.
