Project Inspiration

School is our second home, and we want our children to feel comfortable and relaxed here. In an era of digital technology and online communication, the school remains one of the key places for children’s social and personal interactions. We, the team at Hristo Botev Primary School in the town of Mezdra, driven by the care for our pupils’ emotional and intellectual development, aim to create an inspiring and pleasant environment for communication and learning. The ‘I love my school’ project gave us this opportunity! Let the beauty of our school attract more children to us. Let them be driven by desire, not obligation. Let them feel at ease. Let them be happy and emotionally satisfied. Let us show them how beautiful and interesting the world of knowledge is. Let us be their inspiration for new ideas to help them develop their talents.

Project Description

The appearance of our school has been transformed with a beautiful new interior design. Each classroom has its own spirit and individuality, thanks to the beautiful wallpapers that harmonise with the subject being studied. Through various images, pupils will travel through worlds and universes. Changing the visual environment makes each lesson easier to understand and more enjoyable.  The wallpapers contribute to a new look of the classrooms and take the children into realms of beauty and dreams.

First floor – On the wings of books!”

Riding on the wings of books, children conquer new horizons. The world of books and art unlocks each child’s creativity. They create their own colourful and vibrant world. The colourful images and beautifully selected quotes from Bulgarian authors on the wallpapers make children perceive the school as a pleasant and exciting place where they can easily acquire new knowledge. The wallpapers are chosen according to the pupils’ age. Books are children’s most loyal friends. They encourage them to think and provide new opportunities for development. Books help pupils become more creative. Each child is unique and perceives the world around them in different ways.

Second floor – The colourful world of books!”

The photo wallpapers chosen for the second floor of the school bring us comfort, positive mood and inspiration. We enter the colourful world of books. To open and read a book is like opening a window to new worlds. Books and positive thoughts further stimulate the imagination of the pupils, making it easier for them to grasp the learning content. Colourful pencils and paints help children to be more artistic and to work with greater ease. They become more imaginative and eagerly anticipate their classes. The colourful corners in the corridor contribute to the harmony in communication. The children look after the elements of the new interior design. Environmental awareness fosters a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards the planet. The beautiful colourful wallpapers stimulate the children’s imagination. Passing through the foyers and corridors, pupils are taken to a new and more exciting world.

Children and Flowers

Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.

Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature

Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.

For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
