The world is filled with beauty!
It is in everything around us. You just need to find it – with your eyes or your heart. And then you will look at the world in a different way …
Description of the project
By accepting to work on the project “I love my school”, we, the teachers and students from high school “Konstantin Konstantinov” – Sliven, wanted to prove that beauty is all around us. It is hidden in the magical fairy tales, in folk costumes, customs and traditions, and in general in the world around us. We just have to find it, study it and get to know it. This concept is represented sequentially in the classrooms as well as in the corridors and lobbies in our school.
Floor 1
“Fairy world”
Is there a more interesting and exciting world than the world of fairy tales? They teach us about the priceless things in life such as friendship, freedom, love, kindness, hard work and curiosity. Understanding them makes children feel happy and calm. The magic and the mysterious stories of fairy tales provoke children’s imagination to develop and attract new characters, thus the child associates, creates, combines and develops his emotional and mental activity. That’s why on the first floor, where the youngest students learn, we put wallpapers with images from fairy tales.
Floor 2
“Bulgarian magic”
You can truly understand a country by getting acquainted with its traditions and customs. Every Bulgarian carries them in their heart regardless of the increasingly hectic daily life these days. From birth, the Bulgarian child must be brought up in the spirit of folk traditions, customs and traditions in which way he/she learns about the rich cultural heritage and feels proud of the fact that he/she is Bulgarian. The interior design of the second floor is inspired by this concept and helps the preservation of these traditions.

“Children of the planet”
Children are our future, our hope, the light in our lives. They are the purest and most innocent creatures on our planet and we adults need to teach them to love and cherish their home – planet Earth. To be able to climb the highest mountains, to descend into the deepest ocean depths, to travel from the poles to the equator, to observe erupting volcanoes and other natural phenomena. To know that our planet Earth is the most amazing place in space, or at least for us it is, because only here we can feel the rays of the sun early in the morning and admire the colors of the sunsets.

“Europe is my continent”
Europe – a beautiful continent with a fascinating history. On this old continent we are united in peace, friendship and unity. Children and young people play a big role in the development of Europe. They must not only be highly motivated when it comes to decisions about their future, but also be strongly committed to understand the values that are fundamental to European integration. We hope the interior design of this floor will inspire them to accomplish this task.
The classrooms
Each classroom has its own look with a unique photo wallpaper that has interesting thoughts, affirming messages and words on it. The theme for each classroom is unique and is in tune with the subject that is being studied in it. In grades 1 to 4 there are mainly wallpapers with fairy-tale characters and for the older students the themes of the wallpapers are literature, history, geography, languages, etc.
Project „The children and the flowers“
For this project, special areas were created with flowers “cleaners” and herbs in the classrooms. The goal was to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas to keep children healthier and stimulate their minds to work faster. The students willingly participated in the decoration of the pots, the planting of the herbs and flowers and in the setting of the areas.
