Inspiration of the project:

The teachers from the Vocational Secondary School of Clothing “Elisaveta Bagryana” want to be in harmony with the aspirations of young people for a successful professional start in life.
The innovative and modern interior environment contributes to the development of an aesthetic attitude and builds the positive and modern way of thinking in pupils.
Our goal is to achieve better results by providing innovative vocational education.
We are confident that the knowledge and skills acquired by the secondary school graduates guarantee them successful professional realisation in the various tailoring companies and workshops in the city and in the country.
We also know that the beauty and aesthetics of the environment in which we learn and work is a measure of our value system and our criteria for full learning and work.
Therefore, one of our main goals is to create a favourable, encouraging and supportive environment for pupil inclusion and on this occasion we sought the support and partnership of LightSource Charity.
Thank you for your trust and invaluable help!

Project Description

THROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND INNOVATION – TO FULL PROFESSIONAL REALISATION IN LIFE!

“School is a workshop where the thinking of the younger generation is formed, and you must hold it very tightly if you do not want to let the future slip from your hands.” Henri Barbusse
The renovation of the interior space creates a modern look and conditions for full training on how to create beauty through fashion design and through the magic of culinary art. Ancient wisdom is that knowledge opens the doors to life and gives us wisdom and experience.
And the longer our journey, the richer and more valuable it is. This path starts from school, from the first thrills in front of the books and the voice of the teacher, to the established values and the thirst to know and be able to do more and more. In its over 100-year history, Vocational Secondary School “Elisaveta Bagryana” trains and educates a number of generations, step by step.
It creates indisputable traditions in general education and vocational training and conditions for the full realisation of its pupils. The subjects studied in the secondary school are attractive and promising for the young people.
“We do not learn for school, but for life”. Lucius Seneca

First floor: Fashion Design

Fashion is not only what you wear, but also a way to express yourself! It is a way of life, a different culture and an opportunity to see the world as modern and colourful! The choice of interior design is inspired by the way fashion has the power to transform body language and attitude, to impact pupils’ physical, cognitive and emotional development

Second floor: The Magic of Culinary Art

The renewed interior environment emphasises the magic of the professional field “chef”!
It creates an aspiration for perfection and creativity!
It creates an aspiration for perfection and creativity!
Good chefs have an excellent sense of aesthetics and taste!
Being a cook is much more than preparing a dish.
It is an art that requires talent and improvisation, as well as a pinch of magic.

Third floor: We Create Beauty

The professional field “hairdresser” is directly related to the creation of aesthetics and creativity.
The new interior design is a whole hurricane of sensations – a sense of completeness, passion, inspiration – complements and develops the motivation of pupils.
It is fascinating and invigorating to learn in an environment that emphasises the power of beauty and aesthetics, to be surrounded by colours and shapes, to be allowed to use your imagination.
“Education is what remains when we forget everything we learned in school.” Albert Einstein

Children and Flowers

Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.

Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature

Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.

For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
