Project Inspiration
Our high school stands as a symbol of knowledge and creative ambition. It is a place where students are taught to believe in their dreams—even the ones that seem out of reach.
This project was inspired by the successes and achievements of our students, who continue to thrive in the fields of science, the arts, and civic engagement.
We, the students of Zlatarov High School, carry the spirit of inventors, dreamers, and creators. With passion and a deep trust in our intuition, we shape our identity and enjoy the beauty of the journey.
The themes and colors of the wall murals foster optimism, a sense of belonging, and confidence in our ability to climb any mountain.
Project Description
Creating a comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing learning environment has a powerful effect on student motivation and creative expression. The photo murals throughout the classrooms, hallways, and foyer promote aesthetic awareness, responsibility, collaboration, and a sense of home. The project was enriched by volunteer initiatives that encouraged teamwork and a spirit of solidarity among students and staff.
First floor – “The Art of Science, the Science of Imagination“
The transformation of our school’s interior was not just a cosmetic change- it was an intentional, educational act.
The chosen theme reflects our belief that true learning happens when knowledge meets inspiration and logic is enhanced by creativity.
In today’s world, students must go beyond memorizing facts—they must think critically, make interdisciplinary connections, and approach problems from new perspectives. Through color, illustration, and meaningful messages, our interior design fosters curiosity, discovery, and creative confidence.
This theme speaks to both the intellect and the heart. It encourages a love for science while presenting knowledge in a human, relatable way. It shows that every equation holds the potential for discovery, and every drawing can inspire a new scientific solution.

Second floor – “Think Green. Act Responsibly.“
In a world facing major environmental challenges, schools have a growing responsibility not just to educate, but to cultivate values of sustainability in young people.
That’s why we chose to create an interior that not only beautifies the space, but also educates—through imagery, meaning, and purpose.
The theme “Think Green. Act Responsibly.” reflects our commitment to putting ecological awareness, conscious choices, and personal responsibility at the heart of our school culture.
With visual highlights, fascinating facts, inspiring quotes, and imagery from the natural world, our school interior has become a quiet yet constant teacher—one that inspires, informs, and nurtures values for life.

Classrooms

Children and Flowers
Creating special corners with flower “cleaners” and herbs in the classroom in the school. The aim is to enrich the air with oxygen and healing aromas. For our children to be healthy and have a quick mind, it is necessary to have clean air in the classroom, saturated with oxygen and fresh fragrances.

Plant a tree – restore the balance in nature
Trees play an important role in preserving life on earth. The more trees and forests there are – the smaller the percentage of global warming, because they extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce the greenhouse effect. Their roots significantly reduce the risk of flooding by improving the absorption of rainwater.
For every child in our kindergarten – we plant a tree!
